Paul Cowan is a professional artist and illustrator with a passion for character, storytelling, and detail. His work spans licensed properties and original commissions, from cover art for the Lethbridge-Stewart series by Candy Jar Publishing to official sketch cards for iconic franchises including Doctor Who, Thunderbirds, Highlander, The Hobbit, Terminator 2, Space: 1999, and more.

Alongside commercial illustration, he is a dedicated portrait artist with a love for wildlife and animals. He has created original artworks for Chester Zoo and is currently producing a series of horse portraits for Clwyd Special Riding Centre in Llanfynydd, Wrexham — donating all image rights in perpetuity to support the centre’s fundraising efforts.
